Just a quick reminder the students will be writing a math test tomorrow.  Click on the math tab for information on what they can study to prepare.  We have been preparing for the test the past couple weeks and we are all feeling pretty confident!!

Also, this Friday is our "Growth Mindset" day at the school.  Students will be outside participating in a variety of activities, please send your student dressed to spend the day outside.

Merci Beaucoup,

Highlands Nordic - Ontario's Premier Cross Country Ski Centre
Field Trip to Nordic Outdoor Centre:

I made the mistake of not including the bus fee in the initial permission and price letter that was sent home earlier this year.  The total price for the trip will be $25.00.  If you have already sent $13.50 with your student, please send the additional $11.50 when you can.  Another letter with the correct price will be sent home early next week.  I apologize for any inconvenience.

Mr. Lang finally has his blog up and running!!  It's been a great start to the school year so far.  We are currently working on a novel study of "Hatchet", creating a family tree en français, and starting an inquiry project into our social studies unit on First Nations and European Explorer Interactions.  Every Friday, students will be quizzed on a short dictée.  I will post the study list on this blog and students will also have it written down in their French Journals.
